Last night Andy Murray proved the doubters wrong and took home his first ever Grand Slam trophy after beating World Number 2, Novak Djokovic at the US Open in New York. Andy Murray was already one of the most successful sportsmen ever produced by Scotland, but last night's historic triumph has elevated him to a different league. In other news, a court's heard how a bus driver accused of causing a crash which killed an elderly pedestrian could have been blinded by sunlight. And in sport, Scotland boss Craig Levein's made three changes to his team for tonight's World Cup qualifier with Macedonia. Shaun Maloney, Jamie Mackie and James Forrest come into the starting eleven for the Hampden clash.
